So what do you think is their plan to remedy this situation? Probably nothing, so why didn’t the U.S. invest a paltry sum of money to help the company out? They were stuck paying interest at %10 to bankers, which no company can hope to pay in such an environment as America. So is Obama working with the bankers to force the assets to move into the bankers hands? Very likely. Why else would they do such a thing without providing support for a company if it is so vital for “National Security reasons”?
Maybe setting up a interest rate system based on the percentage of growth that year.
If growth is 2% don’t allow any banks to charge more interest on ALL outstanding loans not just ones issued that year. Like a rolling rate that is hitched to growth. If growth rises too fast it will cut out the unprofitable businesses or incompetent ones by not being able to make the interest payments.
And when growth is needed most, as in zero growth no money would be paid in interest for that year on ALL outstanding loans. And it would provide new businesses capital to start a new business with capital that has no burden to it thus providing growth.
If the money is created out of nothing by these so called banks then explain to me why they need to make any interest at all.
That’s the method of keeping nations and peoples in bondage, my friend. The only real value that comes from fiat money (created out of thin air), is YOUR labor. Let’s say you take a loan out to pay a car. The money you pay back is basically imaginary, like the initial loan money, but the interest payments is the work you put in to pay off the debt. That part is the real worth. Same thing happens in a greatly scaled-up version called the Federal Reserve system and the taxes you pay with every paycheck.
I don’t know how to answer that the questions posed are not really question directed at what I said, but comparing it to the current system without considering what it is that I really meant.
I would be more than happy to explain it further if need be. It’s just I don’t understand that how that is anything like the Federal Reserve. First The Federal Reserve sets interest rates based on whatever they want, second that is only the amount they charge to give money to banks, but they basically give them whatever amount they need free of charge today. So interests rates are set now at .25% how many businesses do you know of that can get loans of this type without being a bank?
The capital is disbursed from the Fed into Banks. How many businesses and home owners would default if they had to pay ZERO interest in a time of sudden crisis which caused growth to ZERO? Second there would be no Federal Reserve. It would be the government who is the Authority over the honesty of the money which is supplied or set up so banks make them money with no charge from the Federal Reserve.
So where is all this money going to in this depression under Zero interest rate? Who can get a loan? It depends on if you seek stability or if you support parasites.
Do you expect just to be born and have everything given to you where money and no form of exchange exists other than how much land you own and how many serfs you employ?
