I thought it was kind of curious how the national mainstream news started reporting on the two highway murders in Mississippi so soon, where they suspected someone pretending to be a cop shot two dead on the highway. Then it occurred to me: The anti-White media were thinking the killer had to be some freaky White dude and were chomping at the bit to make a big deal about it.
Now comes word the Mississippi police have arrested a black guy, 28 year-old James D. Willie (above), for two counts of murder. Cops responding to a domestic disturbance
report found a woman who claimed Willie raped her (a common occurance in Negro neighborhoods). When they arrived and investigated the situation, they discovered the guy had a 9MM Ruger, which ballistic tests later matched as the gun used to kill the two innocent Whites on the highway — literally shot dead out of the blue for whatever money they had and being White in the open.
If the perp had been a White guy (they were really praying he was KKK, being Mississippi and all), the anti-White media would be covering everything non-stop — right on up to what the guy likes to eat for breakfast during his trial a year from now. Oh, sure, FOX and CNN might briefly report on the black guy’s arrest (so people won’t still be scared), but that’ll be as far as it ever goes. Hell, ABC, NBC and MSNBC probably won’t even bother saying a word (even though NBC did a big report on the nightly dinnertime news when they expected a White cop impersonator).
They’ll drop the story like a hot potato — the satellite trucks, Jew producers and yapping reporters will stay home — or at least until they dredge up some evil White guy (or girl) story where they can milk every last drop.

Arrests over anti-Semitic remarks on Facebook
Five men and a 15-year-old youth have been arrested in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow after anti-Semitic remarks were posted on social network site Facebook.
Almost 50 police officers raided seven addresses after complaints from members of the Jewish community in Giffnock.
It followed a number of offensive posts on a page entitled: “Welcome to Israel, only kidding you’re in Giffnock.”
The six people arrested were charged with a breach of the peace with religious and racial aggravations.

One other man was detained and later released without charge pending further inquiry.
Ch Insp Alan Murray, of Strathclyde Police, said: “This was a very complex and protracted inquiry that required assistance from many departments of Strathclyde Police and the support of the procurator fiscal at Paisley.
“I hope it clearly demonstrates that Strathclyde Police will not tolerate hate crimes of any kind.
“It should cause anyone who believes they can get away with this sort of behaviour to think again.”
The Community Security Trust (CST), which helps protect the Jewish community in the UK, said: “CST welcomes the arrests of suspects regarding alleged anti-Semitic statements.
“Glaswegian Jews should be reassured that local police take anti-Semitism seriously, and that they are working with CST and the rest of the Jewish community in tackling it when it does arise.”

“Among the Truthers” is a remarkable book, not least because its author, Jonathan Kay, appears to have emerged with his sanity intact after immersing himself for several years in the wilder precincts of conspiracy theories about everything from President Obama’s birthplace to 9/11 to vaccines. Like a modern-day Gulliver, he has traveled widely and conducted numerous interviews to map what seems like every nook and cranny of the conspiracist universe. Yet Kay, an editor and columnist at the conservative Canadian newspaper The National Post, has not written a Swiftian satire on the foibles of humanity. Rather, he sounds alarms about what he depicts as a mounting paranoia inspired by an invisible and nefarious oligarchy.
Kay usefully cautions at the outset, “Some conspiracies are very real.” Nor is the conviction that secretive elites are manipulating the destiny of the world novel. On the contrary, Kay reminds us, the belief that coastal political elites, bankers and Ivy League intellectuals are conniving to victimize ordinary people has long been a staple on the fringes of American politics. Robert Welch, the founder of the John Birch Society, even claimed that Dwight Eisenhower’s brother Milton was in cahoots with Moscow.
But as Kay sees it, conspiracy thinking is now experiencing a dangerous uptick in popularity. The terrorist threat has replaced the Red menace, as 9/11 had nothing less than what Kay deems a “seismic” effect on America’s “collective intellect.” He devotes much attention to the “truther” movement, which contends that the United States government perpetrated the terrorist attacks.
Some of Kay’s most illuminating passages center not on what conspiracy theorists believe — even to dignify it with the word “theory” is probably to grant them more legitimacy than they deserve — but on why they are attracted to such tedious rubbish in the first place. He divides them into different camps, including the “cranks” and the “firebrands.” Cranks are often reacting to male midlife crises — combating conspiracies, Kay says, offers a new sense of mission. Cranks, he adds, are frequently math teachers, computer scientists or investigative journalists.

Firm adherents to the view that the CIA killed JFK or that the 9/11 terror attacks were carried out by Israeli secret agents will not have their minds changed by Voodoo Histories. It isn’t the author’s fault. David Aaronovitch’s exhaustive inquiry kills those and other popular conspiracy theories stone dead. But Aaronovitch is a columnist for the Times. In the cosmography of conspiracy, that makes him a tainted source, sure to be complicit in the great deception. The fact that a review in another establishment newspaper might judge Aaronovitch to be right will only confirm the existence of a mass media stitch-up. In that sense, conspiracism is a kind of faith, a belief in a higher order of truth that transcends evidence. It absorbs rebuttal and reconfigures it as proof of more conspiracy.
While the resolute believers are a lost cause, Voodoo Histories should persuade the casual sceptic. Anyone who has toyed with suspicion over the accidental nature of Princess Diana’s death, or the self-inflicted nature of David Kelly’s, will have that flirtation brutally curtailed by Aaronovitch’s caustic rationality. Scepticism, he reminds his reader, should cut both ways. If it seems implausible that a small band of terrorists should successfully conspire, undetected by the full might of US intelligence, to crash airliners into the World Trade Centre, how much more plausible is the alternative? An official conspiracy would have to recruit thousands of willing (and psychotically immoral) civil servants and intimidate thousands of witnesses into silence.
Then there is the cost. The effort and expense required to keep up the pretence of a fake Apollo mission over 40 years would far exceed the trouble of simply landing a man on the Moon. If the conspiracy theorists are right, there would be a secret clause in every annual US budget authorising hush money for retired Nasa engineers. Aaronovitch demolishes his chosen conspiracies twice over. First, he makes it clear how inconceivable they are compared to the relative likelihood of the official version of events being true. Second, he takes them on their own terms, examining the so-called evidence in web pages, pamphlets and pseudo-science articles and refuting it with better sourced, more reliable evidence. He salvages facts from the wreckage of history submerged in oceans of amateur, bogus revisionism.
But Aaronovitch aims to do more than expose popular nonsense. He wants to account for our collective appetite for conspiracy in historical, social and psychological terms. It is an approach that owes more to scholarship than journalism and, admirable though the diligence is, it sometimes makes for sticky reading.
When Aaronovitch does sprinkle the debunking with humour, it is a kind of acid drollery, barely disguising the author’s scorn for mankind’s propensity to be stupid. When rubbishing some preposterous Holy Grail story, for example, he cannot resist the atheist sneer that “with sections of the established church still professing to believe in saints, miracles and manifestations, in the liquefying of sacred blood and the transubstantiation of comestible items, such theories seemed no more far-fetched”. It sometimes feels as if the working subtitle for Voodoo Histories was “Sometimes I Wonder Why I Even Bother”.
But the point about an overlap between sacred doctrine and wacko paranoia is an important one. Aaronovitch tries to sidestep it early on with a taxonomy of conspiracy theory that excludes major religions. But he then quickly gets drawn into major historical controversies alongside pop cultural frippery. The Moscow show trials of the 1930s feel somehow of a different order to the question of whether or not Marilyn Monroe was killed by a secret enema.

Their obsession with a hidden meaning in events reflects repressed fear that their lives have no meaning. They are made anxious by the untidiness of truth, preferring to believe in a brilliantly malevolent government than in a disorganised, neglectful one. David Aaronovitch, by contrast, is not afraid to stare the truth in the face and call it boring. And while that probably makes Voodoo Histories a necessary book, it doesn’t always make it a compelling one.”
