Many people believe that Obama has checked out from his responsibilities as President. And it’s true that he prefers the golf course to the stresses of leadership. However, he is quite engaged when it comes to the care and feeding of illegal aliens who will soon become grateful Democrat voters.

Obama got his socialist healthcare from an all-Democrat legislature but now his remaining leftist legacy depends on his unconstitutional pen. And putting millions of big-government voters into the pipeline will bend America to the Democrat model for decades if not permanently.

Now we learn that the administration has done more than just endlessly promise a mass amnesty; it is gearing up to physically create the work permits that are the real amnesty, and a stab in the back of the 20 million unemployed citizen workers.

President Barack Obama deputies are secretly preparing to print work permits for up to 11 million illegal immigrants over the next two years, despite the nation’s high unemployment, stalled wages and increasing automation.

If Obama actually goes ahead with the plan that is sketched in a federal contract document, he would provide employers with the ability to legally hire 13 million foreign workers even as 12 million Americans turn 18 in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The plan to print millions of work permits and green cards — dubbed “permanent resident cards” — is outlined in Oct. 3 and Oct. 6 federal announcements to contractors.

The contract plan was discovered by the Center for Immigration Studies, which favors a lower level of immigration.

“The objective of this procurement is … to produce Permanent Resident Cards (PRC) and Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards,” said the Oct. 6 official announcement at FedBizOpps.gov.

“The requirement is for an estimated 4 million cards annually with the potential to buy as many as 34 million cards total,” the document says.

But the proposed five-year contract includes a so-called “surge” capability to produce an additional five million work-permit cards in one year.

“The Contractor shall demonstrate the capability to support potential ‘surge’ in PRC and EAD card demand for up to 9M [nine million] cards during the initial period of performance to support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements,” said the government’s description of the pending contract.

Those contract terms would give Obama the technical ability to hand out more than nine million work permits in one year, or 13 million in two years, as part of his much-touted unilateral immigration plan.

The plan could give work permits to more foreigners than the total number of U.S. jobs that have been created by businesses during his tenure.

“Over the past four and a half years, our businesses have created more than 10 million new jobs,” Obama declared at an Oct. 19 campaign speech in Maryland. “For the first time in six years, unemployment is below six percent.”

Currently, the federal government awards green cards to one million people per year. That’s roughly one new immigrant for every four Americans who turns 18.

If legal immigrants are given first priority, the proposed contract would still leave 11 million cards for illegal immigrants in the first two years.

The current inflow of legal immigrants — and the resident population of roughly 1.5 million guest workers — already increases the supply of blue-collar and professional workers. Few of the immigrants work in the agriculture sector. The extra labor supply flattens wages when the economy grows slowly, or as technology replaces lower-skilled workers, say economists.

Obama has promised progressives and advocates for immigrants that he will take major action on immigration by the end of the year.

He made that promise after Democratic lawmakers pleaded with him to delay the executive action until after the election.

Obama has repeatedly threatened to roll back enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws because the GOP won’t agree to his political priorities.

In early 2014, national polls and primary voters prompted House Republicans to reject the Senate’s 2013 comprehensive immigration bill.

The Senate bill was backed by Obama, progressives, the Chamber of Commerce, Silicon Valley, many established media outlets, universities, labor unions, the agricultural sector and Wall Street.

The bill would have provided a path to legalization to at least 12 million illegal immigrants, and boosted the annual inflow of legal immigrants and guest workers. It would have also provided more money for border security and a national E-Verify system.

Overall, in combination with existing laws, the Senate’s bill would have annually added up to nearly three million working-age immigrants and guest workers to compete for jobs against the four million Americans who enter the workforce each year.

Obama has taken similar — but much smaller — unilateral immigration actions before.

Collectively, those actions are providing works permits to roughly one million illegal immigrants or foreigners.

Since June 2012, Obama used the legally questionable “Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals” program to give work permits to more than 600,000 illegal immigrants. That DACA number may go above 1.5 million.

Since 2011, he’s allowed roughly 200,000 Central Americans adults, youths and children to apply for green cards via immigration courts. That application process allows the adults and youths to work during the multi-year lawsuits.

In May 2014, Obama’s deputy announced a plan to give work permits to roughly 100,000 resident spouses of foreign guest workers.

On Friday, Obama’s deputies announced they would award work permits in 2015 to 110,000 Haitians who were expected to migrate over the next several years.

He’s also scaled back enforcement efforts so much that immigration officials have not deported 900,000 illegals — including 167,000 foreign criminals — who have been given deportation orders by federal judges. In 2013, for example, fewer than one percent of illegal immigrants living in the United States were repatriated.

The public opposes Obama’s immigration plans by a ratio of roughly three to one.

Polls show Obama’s policies are unpopular, even among his core supporters, such as unmarried women and Hispanics. Others polls shows that GOP voters, many Hispanics, Democratic voters, swing voters and people worried about jobs also oppose Obama’s immigration priorities.

    New records contradict the Obama administration’s assurances to Congress and the public that the 2,200 people it freed from immigration jails last year to save money had only minor criminal records.

    The records, obtained by USA TODAY, show immigration officials released some undocumented immigrants who had faced far more serious criminal charges, including people charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, drug trafficking and homicide.

    The release sparked a furor in Congress. Republican lawmakers accused the Obama administration of setting dangerous criminals free. In response, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it had released “low-risk offenders who do not have serious criminal records,” a claim the administration repeated to the public and to members of Congress.

    The new records, including spreadsheets and hundreds of pages of e-mails, offer the most detailed information yet about the people ICE freed as it prepared for steep, across-the-government spending cuts in February 2013. They show that although two-thirds of the people who were freed had no criminal records, several had been arrested or convicted on charges more severe than the administration had disclosed.

    ICE spokeswoman Gillian Christensen acknowledged the discrepancy. She said “discretionary releases made by ICE were of low-level offenders. However, the releases involving individuals with more significant criminal histories were, by and large, dictated by special circumstances outside of the agency’s control.”

    The detainees were awaiting deportation or hearings in immigration court. The release did not stop those proceedings; instead, most were released with electronic monitors or other forms of supervision.

    A spreadsheet ICE officials prepared listing the detainees includes one person in Texas charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexually assaulting a child, as well as others charged with armed assaults or assaulting police officers. Another immigrant released from Miami had been charged with conspiracy to commit homicide. Two detainees from Boston had been charged with aggravated assault using a weapon. One in Denver had a sexual assault charge. The agency released the spreadsheet to USA TODAY under the Freedom of Information Act.

    ICE’s records do not indicate whether the detainees were convicted of those crimes or merely charged with them. The agency said it would not release information identifying any of the detainees because doing so would invade their privacy, so it was impossible to examine the details of their cases.

    Morton, who resigned last year, told Congress that the more than 2,200 immigrants ICE released included 629 people with criminal records, all of them people who had been charged with misdemeanors “or other criminals whose prior conviction did not pose a violent threat to public safety.”

    That accounting did not include 144 other detainees whose release ICE records attribute to “special issues.” Most often, that meant the detainees were let go because the agency had little chance of deporting them in the near future. The Supreme Court has said the government generally cannot hold immigrants for more than six months if it has no prospect of deporting them. To save money, ICE freed some detainees before the six-month clock ran out.

    The former head of ICE’s detention operation, Gary Mead, said that if officials provided incorrect information to the public, they did not do so deliberately. Rather, he said, the release happened so quickly that ICE managers in Washington did not know precisely who had been released until after the episode had been reported by the news media.

TPS is protection against deportation for illegal aliens and for persons who entered legally but failed to depart when their entry permit expired. In the case of the Nicaraguans and Hondurans who benefit from this most recent extension, their TPS status was first granted as of December 1998 and was due to expire in January 2015 after numerous prior extensions.

    Her death followed the running-over and killing of Palestinian girl Enas Shawkat, 5, by an Israeli motorist driving in the West Bank in a village just north of Silwad. Her death enraged Palestinians but Israeli investigators determined it was an accident and the driver was not arrested.

    The ZOA’s move is important because as Jews see more and more public support for the denial of Jewish rights and interests, it will become increasingly important to call to account those backing institutions that advance this growing trend toward Jewish disenfranchisement.

    The ZOA’s move was important as well because it points us in a useful direction for dealing with a second and increasingly prominent form of anti-Semitism in the US and Canada. That form is violent anti-Semitism.

    Increasingly, anti-Semites in the US are adopting brownshirt tactics to violently advance their goal of removing Jews from the public square and intimidating others into boycotting Israel and those who support it.

    Take just a few examples in recent weeks. In late September, several hundred anti-Semitic rioters at the Port of Oakland prevented longshoremen from unloading cargo from the Israeli cargo ship Zim Shanghai. According to media reports, there were 50 policemen from the Oakland police force on the scene, but their presence did not stop the rioters or enable the longshoremen to offload the cargo.

    None of the anti-Semites were arrested. Zim Shanghai was forced to leave the port with its cargo and sail on to Los Angeles.

    The group that organized the assault on the Zim ship calls itself Block the Boat for Gaza. It operates through its Facebook page where it openly organizes violent assaults on Israeli shipping. Another assault is planned, according to its Facebook page, for October 25.

    A previous assault in August, during Operation Protective Edge, also took place with police presence and nonintervention. The Zim Piraeus was forced as well to pull anchor with its cargo and sail on to Los Angeles.

    Block the Boat for Gaza is supported by another group called Arab Resource and Organizing Center.

    On October 8, the Brooklyn Nets played an exhibition game against Maccabi Tel Aviv at the Barclay Center in downtown Brooklyn. The event was a benefit for Friends of the IDF. Twelve IDF soldiers wounded during Operation Protective Edge were guests at the event.

    About a hundred anti-Semitic rioters organized outside the event. They were members of variety of organizations reportedly including Jewish Voices for Peace, Adalah – New York, and the Direct Action for Palestine.

    After the event, a number of the rioters accosted Leonard Petlakh, the director of a local Jewish community center, as he was leaving the arena with his two young sons. According to The Forward, they shouted, “Free Palestine,” and, “Your people are murderers.” And then one of them punched him in the face, breaking his nose.

    The assailant was arrested. But strangely, he was not charged with committing a hate crime despite the clear anti-Semitic character of his crime.

    On October 5, hours after the end of Yom Kippur, swastikas were painted on the walls of AEPi Jewish fraternity at Emory University near Atlanta.

    Swastikas were also painted at the Yale University campus. In July, mailboxes of AEPi members at University of Oregon were defaced with swastikas.

    In August, a Jewish student at Temple University was assaulted by a member of Students for Justice for Palestine.

    In a video filmed at the national convention of AEPi and posted on YouTube two weeks ago, members of AEPi from campuses around the US and Canada shared the stories of anti-Semitic assaults they and their friends suffer regularly on their campuses. The attacks described included, among other things, violent assaults.

    Gideon Rafal, the president of AEPi at University of Arizona, described how he was assaulted while trying to prevent a group of 20 Jew-hating thugs from forcing their way into his fraternity house.

    Rafal said he was struck from behind and lost consciousness.

    The injuries he sustained during the assault included a skull fracture, bleeding in the brain, a concussion and a lower back fracture. He says that he was hospitalized for three weeks, spending 10 days in the intensive care unit.

    Rafal did not say who the assailants were or what legal measures were taken against them or what organization if any, they were associated with.

    Other students described threats against Jewish students manning a table for Birthright Israel programs at Loyola University in Chicago, and the assault of a Jewish female student at University of California at Santa Cruz.

    Shane, a student at University of Calgary, described how he, his mother and sister were violently assaulted for counter-protesting at an anti-Israel protest. The group that sponsored the anti-Israel protest and whose members attacked him and his family is an official campus organization.

    Shane said he fears for his life as he walks through campus.

    In recent years it has become apparent that university campuses have become breeding grounds for anti-Semitism. The incidents described by the Jewish students who attended the AEPi convention indicate that the anti-Israel propaganda taught in the classrooms is increasingly being translated into anti-Jewish violence outside of them.

    The major American Jewish organizations were incompetent to contend with anti-Israel incitement as it became a major force in university classrooms some 15 years ago. Jewish students found themselves with few communal resources to rely on when they suddenly and unexpectedly found themselves at the front lines of the anti-Semitic battle against Jewish rights.

    New groups like Stand with Us and Hasbara Fellowships were formed to fill the vacuum. CAMERA, ZOA and other major groups have in recent years invested massive efforts into empowering students to stand up to this incitement.

    But today, as anti-Semites on and off campus increasingly resort to brownshirt tactics, the American Jewish community again finds itself without the means to contend with a new challenge.

    And this brings us back to the ZOA’s naming the names of Jewish philanthropists still supporting the Met.

    The organizations involved in intimidating Jews and assaulting Jews on and off campus who support Israel are not interested in dialogue. Groups that organize to prevent the conduct of normal commercial relations between Israel and the US are not concerned with whether or not they are considered mainstream. The goal of these groups is to intimidate and terrorize the American and Canadian publics into silence as they make it impossible for Israel and its supporters to have a place in the public square.

    Educational efforts are of little value in contending with thugs. But this doesn’t mean that there is nothing to be done. Groups like Block the Boat for Gaza, Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voices for Peace, Adalah, the Arab Resource and Organizing Center and Direct Action for Palestine need to be investigated.

    Where does their money come from? Who are their leaders? What are their ties to terrorist groups? What are their ties to organized labor? What are their ties to politicians? What is their tax status and what do their tax returns say? If members of various groups are intimidating Jewish students then there should be restraining orders against them. Criminal complaints should be filed against them. Their tax-exempt status should be challenged.

    Jewish students should be demanding that Students for Justice in Palestine be expelled from their campuses along with other hate groups, like Jewish Voices for Peace. Jewish alumni should be organizing to withhold all donations from universities that permit anti-Semitic groups to operate on campus. And Jewish lawyers should be filing lawsuits against universities and other institutions that enable the operation of anti-Semitic groups on their premises.

    If Jewish students complain that they feel threatened on campus, then lawsuits should filed against the universities for engendering a threatening atmosphere against them.

    Politicians who support or, when asked, fail to condemn these groups, individuals and their actions as racist and bigoted should be called out for their behavior. Police departments like the Oakland police department that do nothing to stop rioters from preventing the lawful, unfettered operation of a major US port should be subjected to public and legal scrutiny.

    The challenge of anti-Semitism in North America is growing and mutating by the day. Jews in America and Canada need to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Reasonably, American Jews have no interest in aping the hateful tactics of anti-Semites to fight them. But an aggressive campaign of legal, political, social and financial opposition to those who seek to demonize Jews and deny Jews civil rights as Jews as well as those who enable them can go a long way toward making members of these hate groups and their supporters rue the day they decided to go after the Jews.

    I was watching video by Stefan Molyneux where the topic was Robin Williams. He discussed Williams life fairly objectively and yes Williams made some bad choices that were his fault.

    However, near the end he tears into how the legal system and women gang up and predate like men to the point they become bankrupt after divorce proceedings. He considers these types of women a lower class than prostitutes.

    I was working with some guys several years ago, one of which lived in a nearby area and knew a lot of well off divorced women.

    The saying amongst these women was “Go for the fat, then go for the lean”..in other words seduce some less attractive but well- off man….marry them(go for the fat)…produce some kids…divorce them …live a good life from the divorce proceedings…then go be a cougar-slut banging the more attactive guys(the lean)…

    Williams was taken to the cleaners by (2) ex wives and it was a major contributor to what happened. Like Molyneux says, the wives didn’t earn it…their job was to be a wife, if they don’t want to be a wife…bye bye. What “job” entitles you to such a settlement ? The wives performed not much more a role than prostitutes, hence it would have been better for Williams to hire them , as in the end what was the difference.?
