THE ISRAELI ROLE IN THE GENOCIDE IN RWANDA
I recently happened to notice an article in the Israeli daily paper Haaretz, which detailed something of which I had been hitherto unaware. Namely that Israel had a significant auxiliary role in the Rwandan genocide in 1994: where Hutu tribal militia famously killed five hundred thousand to a million of their Tutsi tribal rivals over the course of one hundred days.
It turns out that the Israeli government happily sold large quantities of 5.56 millimeter bullets, as well as guns and grenades captured in the Yom Kippur war in 1973, to the Hutu forces with no questions asked about what they were going to be used for. (1) The Israeli left-wing newspaper Maariv has even suggested that the Israeli government continued to sell the Hutus weapons and ammunition during the genocide. (2)
Also worth noting is that the Tutsis actually claim to be partially descended from jews (3) and the fact that the Israeli government knowingly (and with malice aforethought) connived in their brutal near-extermination by their tribal enemies: is another bit of evidence against Israel’s allegedly ‘multicultural and diverse’ nature.
After all: who cares if a million Tutsis die?
