My general health is pretty good now. My heart and eyes are better than they’ve ever been. My eyes in particular are better than what they call “20:20”. I’ve thrown my glasses away because I don’t need them any more, just a cheap pair for reading.
It’s all the tests and things that take so much time. I’ve got appointments on the 13th, 16th, 30th and 31st, probably another one with the heart failure nurse sometime this month, then what I’m hoping will be the last one on February the 10th.
I shouldn’t complain. It’s frustrating at times, but they saved my life and gave me a perfect pair of eyes as a bonus.
I’m still taking sandwiches next time I go to Belsen though. 🙂 Losing 50 pounds in weight in about four weeks wasn’t much fun, but it’s all in the past now.
